Im kinda addicted to diet coke, I can go through a whole 2 litre bottle a day! I heard that it strips your bones of calcium, so if I drunk heaps of milk as well as heaps of coke, would I be alright?
Surely, the aspartame and what cactus says about the amount of caffeine is enough to make you cut down drastically - the heaps of milk you drink seems to be irrelevant in this light.
It's not just your bones you need to worry about. A mate of mine used to drink similar amounts and it made his stomach lining become detached. He was warned in hospital that this was due to the amount of coke he was drinking and that if he continued and it happened again, he would most likely die. He still drinks 1 or 2 bottles a day. Now that's addiction!
If you are worried about calcium loss there are plenty of other foods that contain much more calcium than milk, like cheese, however if you drink loads of milk you may not want to drink as much diet coke. If you are really worried try taking a calcium and vit D suppliment ( the vit is needs to help your body "use" the calcium.
