I've been asked to make a starter which is savoury, suitable for vegetarians and can be served cold. I'm stuck any help out there?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.very similar to rja and my favourite starter/barbecue salad - slice up mozzarella and tomatoes, arrange on a plate, drizzle with a good olive oil and sprinkle with either fresh basil (ripped up ala Jamie Oliver style) or a pinch of dried italian herbs (can be bought as a tub of "italian herbs"). Alternatively you can serve this hot by baking for about 10 minutes
