No. Technically it would still be mashed potato. That is - several potatoes, mashed together.

But then again,if you then coated it in oil and salt, then cooked it on a very high heat in the oven, you would have a gorgeous nearly-jacket potato. I'm going to try it, thanks sub x x

Keep all the peeling's , and reassemble the original potato's , filling them with the mash .
place said potato's back in the veg box .
Astound you're chums with this merry jape , when you ask them to make you some chips ...................!!!
