Which is the hottest curry and which is the mildest?

Phaal is the hottest curry with a name, and certainly the hottest one you can buy off an Indian menu. But..........the hottest curry will be your own. simply put as much chiili or spice in it as you like.

Some Indian restaurants do not do this anymore as it actually burnt a hole in somebody's stomach and the were sued.

There are some chillis that you can not handle without gloves, and some that you dip into the curry and pull straight back out again.

How do you think "Pepper Spray" is made. Do they use table pepper????

Some years ago in an Indian restaurant...

Me - 'I'll have the Lamb Ceylon, please'

Indian Waiter - 'Oh my God!'

Me - 'What was that?'

Indian Waiter - 'Oh nothing sir!'

I can best describe that curry as 'deafening'!

On another occasion I brought back some Habanero peppers from the Caribbean as a present for the owner of a local Indian takeaway. He refused them, saying, (and you'll have to imagine the Indian accent), 'No, no, no! I know all about these peppers. They are pure poison!'

Joe, there is a slight difference between eating something and having it sprayed in your face.

I often use Scotch Bonnet chiilies in my curries so I know what I am talking about.
