I'm on a diet and I'm going to an Indian restaurant tonight. I have the palette of a four year old and don't like spicy foods. Any ideas?

Tikka Masala and Korma are ghastly dishes which contain more sugar and colourings than chicken. Try a King Prawn Biryani, like all biryanis it comes with a medium vegetable curry. Or a dopiaza, oniony. If you like spinach, try a Chicken Sag. Tarka Dall (lentils) has a mild kick and is pleasantly laxative. Be a little adventurous, ask the waiter to tell you all about the dishes on the menu, do they have a chef's special ?
Have a great time anyway, if it was me I'd be having Naga King Prawn Phall

Hi helster, if you are on a diet you're best to go for the dry tandoori dishes, i always have these and they are lovely. They are dry baked in the oven, usually you can get chicken or prawns done this way. Maybe avoid a naan bread and go for plain boiled rice. Popadoms are pretty low in calories too. Enjoy!!x
