Salmon Cakes.

Why do manufactures call them Salmon "Fish" cakes? when there's no other fish in them but salmon? Does'nt make sense to me.

Isn't Salmon also a fish? I guess that's why ....

That's my point figure. Why are'nt they called Salmon Cakes?
...and why do they call it "pineapple" when there's neither pine or apple in it?
The dish is a fishcake, they are just telling you the type of fish in it.

Prefer haddock meself like......
Also, if it's called Salmon cakes, without knowing the ingredients content one may mistake it for a pudding or sweet cake, not something savoury and fishy.

Salmon is also a colour. To most, they know the salmon fish to be salmon in colour. But, there are salmon fish whose colour is white or like the regular fish colour. (hope this make sense)
