I definitely put the milk in first, in coffee and tea. It gives the drinks a better taste.
Always, and if it's tea, it has to come from a teapot and not a bag in the cup
I put mine in last......adding it until it looks the right colour....
Milk in first in tea, it's tradition isn't it?
Milk in after in coffee, it makes it creamier.
Adding milk to hot tea scalds the milk, altering its taste which some people find unpleasant. So milk first for tea.
Adding milk to hot coffee does the same, but the scalded milk taste adds flavour to the coffee - it's how cappuchinos are made after all.
milk first in coffee (and warmed up) milk last in tea
milk in first, oh most def! ... :o)
Milk in last for both tea and coffee; how else are you meant to know whether the strength of the beverage looks to your taste? Simples!
Same as johnny,
coffee granules need to dissolve as coffee beans/ tea - need to brew fully dont they?
black tea, no sugar
milk in coffee afterwards :)
YOU NEVER PUT MILK IN TEA FIRST! I like my cuppa really strong so i put water in so that the tea gets a chance fully infiltrate every particle of water, when you put the milk in first, hardly any tea comes out of the teabag and you end up with basically milk and water! With coffee it does'nt really matter but i always put the coffee in first out of habit!
Milk in last, then you can adjust it to the right colour and strength.
Milk in coffee first... milk in tea last...
Gotta be milk first in tea and last in coffee!
If the milk goes in first, the tea will end up light and weak! Not the way i like my cuppas at all! Coffee, same as the tea,put the coffee in,sugar, water then milk till you get the right consistancy!
First in coffee and last in tea :)
Either.

Whichever comes to hand first.

Mind you, I don't put milk with the tea bag, before the hot water.
Some people do!
Milk in first with coffee as i know from experience how strong its gonna be - different if someone else makes it.

Milk in last with tea so can brew better and if its earl grey which it generally is i leave the bag in til i have finished the drink.
