crispy fried onions

I love these on my salads but have now run out. The last bag I bought was from tesco I can't remember the price cos they lasted me ages but I know it was less than �1.50, I can no longer find them in tesco, I have asked an assistant but no luck, they don't seem to know what you are talking about. I found a tub in morrisons for 79p but it wasn't a very big tub (but better than nothing). Does anyone know where else they may stock them? I had thought of trying an asian grocers but not sure if they would have them. Any help out there please. Kath.

yes an asian/oriental grocer will do them.
Tesco by me does a bag of them in the 'world foods' section

You can buy them at any big Supermarket in Frozen Food Dept. Onion Rings they are called and you deep fry them

Thanks jack, I have searched every aisle of tesco's but didn't find any (not even in a tub). I will have another look next time I am in there. I have just got aldi's leaflet in my emails and they have them coming in on 16th july - 150gr for 85p. I will check out the asian grocers too. Morrisons cost 79p for 100grs (near the salad cream). I love those crispy fried onion bits too.
I last bought them at 'Tesco' too. In our local Tesco's I found them on top of the freezers... with the salad creams, I hope this helps,

Bought some in a tub 100g in Sainsburys this morning 72p.They were on a shelf near sauces,mayonnaise,mustard etc.
