How to make nachos

I would like to make nachos for the first time. I think I have all the ingredients for it: salsa, guacamole, doritos, sour cream, jalapenos, cheese, and sliced black olives. I dont have a recipe for it. Can anyone suggest a tried and tested recipe for it? Or do you just put all of the things together and bung them in the oven?

I am the nacho queen.
You lay the dorritos on a plate, cover in grated cheese (i find red leicester best), you can put shredded chicken on too. Then do another layer, the same. I dont use olives but just sprinkle them over the top, with the jalepenos. Put them in the oven gas mk 6 ish for about 8 mins, until melted and bubbly. i put the sour cream, salsa and gaucamole in seperate little bowls and spoon on top as i eat them. I also heat some mild spicy beans and have those too. Lovely

Yes I have refried beans from Discover too! Miss random, you say it is gas mark 6, but I have a non gas oven with numbers from 1 to 6, so wouldnt a 6 be too high?

yes that would be too high. put it on about half way, and just check they not burning
