am going to use one tonight for chicken, can I put the potatoes in with the chicken and will they brown, cos if I have to put them in seperately it's not worth using the bag!

Thanks Robi, yes I have already seen that but my bro's address wasn't there, but he's had to go. I just hope he doesn't lose everything. They say it was started by a spark from an angle-grinder - little things!
HI Biddyfriends everywhere.. i'm back and to prove it I'm here. After reading all your posts I feel really guilty listening to all your probs with relatives in Australia etc. it made me feel how selfish I was being. I've been on a bit of a downer. I've been going out about doing my usual things but felt really low. I can't explain why. I spent yesterday crying and wallowing in self-pity then I signed on here this morning and read all your posts and there you all are chattering away and lovely and friendly to each other as ever. I'm sorry..
I'm very happy that you have spoken to your relatives in Oz and that things seem to be getting sorted and they have not been injured or anything even though it is a serious situation.
I'm not a bracelet sort of person Kit (my arms are too thin) but those you have look really good. I'm a ring person as you have already gathered.
Lovely photos Neti. I'm still trying to get one of the Blue tits in my garden but they don't stay still long enough.
Robi I laugh out loud at those vids of the mime artist. That brightened me up this morning when I saw the last one. Will have to look on YouTube for some more.
Hello to all I haven't mentioned hope you are all keeping well Especially Mr. S Mr W. Mr.L.
Time for my Latte now then school later. See yer later 'gater(s)
Sorry I just missed your last post Neti. Thinking about you.
Oh dear jno,

http://www.theanswerb...Question985882-2.html

He can't let it go, can he!
Hi Jude, nice to see you back. You know that I empathise and completely understand when you get these downers. However much you try they don't go away. When it happens at least we know that it isn't forever. Take care of yourself.

I locked my ribs yesterday whilst bending down in the garden and it made me cry out. I forgot about it until I woke up this morning. Said ribs ache like mad and I can't even touch them!! Nothing strenuous today!!

I am sure all the relatives will be OK, especially now the winds have dropped!!
I hope all is well for them neti x

here you are Jude, another one to cheer you up

Don't apologise for being down, we all have days like that, well I do. I blame me hormones...the weather...noise...demanding neighbours..chocolate shortage... :o)
And stop staying you're too thin for bracelets, boots, etc. I don't let it put me off anything...well, except maybe when it comes to boob tubes...a definite no no, they erm, tend to slide....not nice...
Oh he's like a dog with a bone Lottie...tell him there are 56 ABers who currently work for the site...that should keep him busy for the next 6 months trying to find them, hahahaha
Thanks Robi LOL. I'm on my way back. Thank goodness I don't go down very often.
Well Jude I hope this blustery weather hasn't put all your ankle-snappers in a bad mood today, it's said that it does.

I see the Ed's posted on that thread now Lottie, let's hope it shuts him up once & for all.
Mail Robi!!
hello, I missed all that. My stomach spent all yesterday punishing me for the previous night's excesses (which weren't really all that excessive) so after spending the day trundling down to Kent to see where jno jnr and GF plan to buy (a lovely spacious flat at the top of a grand old semi), I went to bed early. Jude, I'm glad you feel cheerier. It's this dull grey weather and the wind howling, it brings out the werewolf in all of us.
good morning jude...we aren't in any "my problems are worse than your problems" comp here we all lean on each other and that way none of us fall over.

ha jno, what on earth have you done to wind up the conspiracy crowd?

its blustery wet horrid here, we now have a new shower delivered, only the new internet hub to go..the old one is failing fast so we renewed with BT and they cut our cost by a fiver a month and are sending us a new hub.
Thank you Woofy. I've just sat and listened to Lean on Me and even though it's very windy still the sun has decided to shine metaphorically and actually!

Hello jude, I feel bad now for waffling on about Oz. but honestly I didn't know who else I could turn too, Mr N was in a quiet mood! Anyway update, my bro got though to my sis on his mobile and asked her to call him back cos he was nearly out of balance, but she can't get him back, she's either written the number down wrong or the lines are down, but says that it was ringing for a while.

so cheer up biddies. I am also not a bracelet wearer, I usually wear watches, modern, big, bracelet types.
I wear a plain gold bangle when I leave the house to go anywhere. It was my father's present to my Mum on her 21st birthday and it is inscribed 'love Jack 13.10.41' on the inside. It's probably my most treasured possession. I do wear a bracelet if I go out somewhere nice.

Actually, I'm not much of a Jewellery person at all. I have loads because Mr LL has bought me loads!! I don't like bling though, diamonds are not my style at all. I also prefer silver to gold.
neti, same message to you, lean whenever you want to, you both have listened to me often enough....good morning jno, all that champers and you didn't overdo it????? really???
It's totally pointless asking anyone if they work for AB anyway...how do you know they're telling the truth?

Jno jnr's new pad sounds lovely... in my dreams I live in an upstairs flat in an old but beautifully revamped building...there's a shared garden & we're allowed to plant our own little plot with flowers...no dodgy 'erbs :o)...and a hunk comes & does the donkey work once a week while we recline on our balconies in pink chiffon & fluffy mules. <sigh>

Now if you'll excuse me the Ed needs me for something apparently

Yep, Ed's in a bad mood too. I didn't make his coffee as he liked it this morning!!
Afternoon biddy bodies. Arghh, just made coffee and when I poured it it was just hot water... Well somebody (Spare?) is trigger-happy, methinks replies get blasted off this site quicker than Wyatt Earp can say Freeze, Scumbag! (Erm... Wyatt Earp was in Hill Street Blues wasn't he...;-) No but seriously I didn't see ^^that guy's input; from what's left I understand he must have been as annoying as a horse-fly but was he abusive? I'm not saying he wasn't as I didn't even see it, I'm just surprised (he isn't usually abusive or is he?) and I do think much is zapped nowadays that should have been left, for clarity and for sorting out amongst ourselves. And it's such a joy to see jno retort and turn horse-flies to dust, which won't happen if jno doesn't get to see what the zappee said. (But I'm speaking in general here.)

Woofy that ginger beer sounds good, I love ginger. I went to IKEA a month ago and I remembered to look for "your" cloudberry jam but no such luck, they didn't sell it anymore:'( But I know other stores that do so that's okay, I just wanted to try "yours". About Paco Rabanne, besides nominal dysphasia light often being stress related I also think that when you're worn down over a prolonged period of time you may have a name or a phrase in your mind and not know if you just read it or if it's your own thoughts. Well at least I've experienced that. Sounds psychotic but it isn't, it's just exhaustion, and I bet you're exhausted, Woofy, with all the worry and all the practical matters. Think we could get one each of these on eBay? (I wish.) http://i55.tinypic.com/2f088c2.jpg

Neti I gather you're still worried but what a relief so far:) Jude a friend of mine once said that no problem or grief is "unworthy", as, whatever we feel, we feel it one hundred percent. Wise friend. Lov
(cont.) Wise friend. Love that song Woofster. Well I had better do some cleaning, there's a lot to be done and I have to organise it differently to what I'm used to. Oh jno that flat sounds fabulous! (I'm probably not allowed to say 'fab' as Headmistress probably finds it too "yah, yah" so see what I did there, a compromise;-)
