I love these boathouses!

jno I am glad that someone else has seen you know who as a bully...I have been on the receiving end a couple of times but as I was having a wind up for fun I wasn't bothered.
I have said twice on the thread that no this is not the first abusive post but no one else seems to have noticed.....
NOT going mooshy but thank you for the comments. It really helps to know you are there. DH has just arrived back from FIL in Somerset, they have been living it up in Starbucks and DH set up our old computer for FIL.
Plumber is coming tonight (another one) to quote for shower.
I have seen the said posts directed at you woofie!! I very rarely visit that section. I have nothing to contribute - Said poster has always been OK with me but we haven't had any reasons to disagree.

Woofy we are always here for you!

Us Biddies stick together. I made the biggest mistake ever when I left the flock for a while. It was at one of the roughest times of my life when I needed friends like you lot. I would have got by a lot better with you. So belated thanks. x
I've usually lost interest after her first sentence, haha. Let em all flounce as much as they like...it's the bystanders chipping in with nothing much when there's a heated debate who irritate me beyond words.
Lottie, it is certainly nice to know that in hard times there is an establishment like this with a big bowl of nurofens by the front door for people to help themseolves to as they stagger in.

Evening all, bends knees and doff cap and then cannot stand straight again!!!

Who's being a bully, please send me a link, I wanna know, I wanna know, I wanna know.

Dear woofy you and shaney have more to rant and moan about then anyone and you had a lot going on before you told us, so you come and self pity yourself, cos we are always here and we love you (apart from those damned hearts, will they ever leave me alone :-))

Had another go at the mobile phone company cos they want me to pay 7€ to get back to the stage I was when they messed it up, so I refused and stood my ground, and they have done for free, and the icing on the cake (and yes this is petty but it got my back up) is when they changed me unlawfully to contract they took my last remaining balance of 3€, so had nothing and I insisted they pay it back. Oh we can't do that they said, well you took it jolly quickly I said and then I ranted and raved and they passed me onto a dutch guy who was nice and has sorted it all. I hate unfair thigs.

There, petty or what!!!!
no neti, not petty, it's principle :o)
I love to listen to Tarquin on the phone to people like that. He's never ever rude or angry, he just questions everything until they run out of stock answers and give in.
Question Author
When I say rant and rave actually I am never rude and never loose my rag, but the people on the phones here are unbelievably bigheaded, and I did try that "if you don't get this sorted I will cancel my broadband and landline" and they said, shall we cancel it immediatetly. I had a fright then, so I said it's in Mr N's name and they must never cancel anything without his permis, but you see it doesn't work here!!!
Question Author
sorry the permis, could be misread so I mean permission!!!!!
Neti its someone who used to haunt R and S The person would debate vigorously till they started to lose then get abusive...oddly in other sections, same person was quite polite. Got to confess I used to yank the person's tail for the fun of it. Anyway this person called a long time sensible member a foul name and the ed saw it and pulled the post so the person has flounced...membership still active so I bet they are lurking.
Question Author
Oh, still none the wiser, am I?
will tell you more on FB
Good night star, goodnight tree, goodnight biddies
just to direct everyone's attention to this handy form created by snags...

Goodness me, not more flouncing .There must be something in the good book re flouncing . Suffer the little flouncers to come unto me ? I lose interest too in all that waffle and hefty tomes that are read just to disprove others beliefs .Perhaps there'll be a second coming :)

Woofy I'm sorry to hear about hubby .Keep your chin up and take it a day at a time .
I hope they can sort him out for you .It's all a worry isn't it .
We've had a letter today and Mr S has to go for some sort of winkle and wee procedure on the 14th .It doesn't sound very pleasant . But on the bright side he's now just over 11 stone which is a big difference to what he weighed pre op.

I've whiled away the afternoon at my brothers helping my SiL set up an online library account and now I'm going to flounce off to bed .
Goodnight all,sleep tight .
Hahaaaaa..I've just read the flounce application form .Brilliant .
Pip pip.
Ooh and I quite forgot
Did you see Tom's last case Robinia ? It was quite sad at the end .

I am definitely going now :)

"Thou shalt not bear false flounces"

Morning all,

Thanks woofy and jno for email, explains it all!

Hope mr woofy is feeling Ok and mr s also.

Have sent you all an email about dogs and cats it is so sweet.

What is the title of the last midsomer please, then I can search it.

Hope you are all ok.
Good morning...anyone seen my roof? Cor blimey, it's blowing a hooley out there..I was rounding up the wheelie bins in my dressing gown at 11.30 last night.

I love the flounce form, brilliant! Wassamatta wi folks? I haven't flounced since I was 11 and someone embarrassed me in front of my boyfriend. I didn't think he'd speak to me again but he acted like nothing had happened...we were soo mature in the old days, haha.

No shaney (whoops, I put your real name in there) I didn't see MM, I haven't watched much tele this week. With all the noise during the daytime I've been catching up on phone calls, emails etc in the evenings. I'll catch up with it sometime.
I could have managed without one phone call from the demanding neighbour at 9.30 the other night though. She's obsessed with MRSA, not because she had it but because..... wait for this.....she doesn't believe it exists!! <bangs head>
(she came home on Fri, she'd had it while in hospital)
You have no idea what I have to put up with from this woman, haha. I think I'll put her in touch with the resident doc on here, they can argue each other to infinity & beyond.

I'm off to shaney's for some fattening up, it must be the dumplings :o)
Good morning all...nearly got blown away this morning leapt back to warm bed at 06.00 and then next thing i know its !0.00...Dh slept till then too which has done him good...got the rest of the housework to do today and the plane from scotland (our visiting friend) is scheduled to arrive early cos of tail winds....laters all
G'day all. Went on another Northpole Expedition yesterday. The shopping centre is like a mirage, looks very close even from set-out but then you just keep on walking and walking... and walking... I'll have to accept going by bus, can't be doing this. Weather here was springlike but extremely windy yesterday - the wind was in my face no matter which way I turned! - and today it's been snowing all day. Night before this one the cat honoured me with his presence in my bed for an hour or so, the rest of the night was spent under the bed. (He, not I:) He thinks the light shines out of my *bleep*. Yesterday he jumped onto my lap within seconds after I had sat down, briefly, on the loo. BTW jno thanks for posting that lolcat article a while back:-D Very funny flounce announce too:-D

Speaking of elderly neighbours... I spoke to mine yesterday to give him my mobile number and I swear (this is true) it took us 15 minutes to get it right. Every time he read the digits back to me he got it wrong in a new way. It ain't pretty:'(

Aww look at you Woofy, quoting Goodnight Moon - did you get the book? I think you'd like it. Lol at the sheepskin coat with the sheep still in it! Now about not always being able to feel optimistic, how normal is that on a scale... xxxxx As has been said, uncertainty wears you down, I think we all recognise that so don't worry, I for one am honoured that you and Shaney share your concerns with us from time to time.

Six cats, blimey Lottie... you would have needed one of those (I've posted it before but not sure if you were around at the time) http://i54.tinypic.com/mrwwnd.jpg
