Does any one still eat Fray Bentos Steak and Kidney Pie cooked in the tin! Noticed they have made a comeback on Supermarket shelves! What other Steak and Kidney pies are good and any good home made recipes welcome!

I had a Vesta beef risotto the other day and it was better than expected. I mean, for 99p you can't expect much, but it was quite tasty.

Evening mrs c. I used to love to cook but now I'm disabled it's the easy way out for me when I'm having a bad day. Nothing wrong with tinned food then.

I wont eat any ready meals, I only eat home made pies, and I love home made steak and kidney pie. I did try one of those frey Bentos tinned pies for old time sake, Oh my god, it was eating something created in a third world laboratory!! GROSS!!!

Give me home made food anytime and Steak and Kidney pies is a big favourite.

Ok ttfn, I'm never eating a tinned meat pie again now. God that chappie dog food was disgusting!

Thanks mrs c. Yep, still got problems with ankle. Got a hospital appointment on Monday to find out whether I have to have another operation (the 6th) to remove the metal in my ankle. Apparently it's not doing anything now the bones have set so they think it might help with the pain. Here we go again, and people wonder why I drink!
