Food Shopping - really makes me ANGRY
69 Answers
I've just been to a local well known supermarket and I it REALLY annoys me when people leave their trolleys just left in the middle of the aisle or an an angle so others can't get past.
Also, when people have conversations whilst blocking the aisle also. this is REALLY annoying.
Please can I ask the general public, to at least show a little consideration with their trolley and when blocking aisles whilst having a conversation with a neighbour. Maybe this will help to make our lives that little bit easier.
Does anyone else get really annoyed by others with their careless attitudes with trolleys.

Problem is, 4getmenot, that nine times out of ten saying 'excuse me please' gets you either a dirty look, a mouthful of abuse or even no response at all.
If unattended trollies are left in my way, I move them. Period.
The secret is to find a supermarket that's in a 'student zone'. I find most students to be very polite and considerate shoppers, even when you slam trollies with them round the corner of an aisle at 30mph.

ha ha.. I understand that those instances are annoying - but nothing more than a minor niggle.... not enough to warrant a post and rant on this site I wouldnt have thought!!
Unless of course you are having a bad day today!
Anyhow - I guess people when browsing the shops are not aware of space around them and others... so most dont realise they are being a nuisance!
I always approach them walking loudly (in heels) so they can hear me coming then say overly loud EXCUSE ME if they are in my way!!
Either that or just avoid the shop on pension day!
;-)

Seeing as that my social life seems to be Morrisons and I meet the world and his wife in therend stop to chat along with all the other people - the answer is 'no - I don't get annoyed' it's nice to see people chatting and if their trolleys are in the way I just say excuse me and they move them. If there are trolleys left all alone, I move them myself. I don't particularly like shopping for food so the pleasure I get from social intercourse makes it much more bearable!! ;o)
