aldi - how do they do it??
45 Answers
just come back from a trip to aldi. spent £20.83 and got a huge trolley load of fruit and veg. the only other things i bought were 2 large fresh milk, 28 items in all. i really don't know how they manage to sell such good quality fruit and veg at such cheap prices. i'm always amazed at how little the bill comes to when i go there but today i am exceptionally amazed!! and exceptionally pleased :)

SHopping in Aldi is much quicker. Even Mr thug can shop there because a tin of beans is just that, 1 tin of beans rather than 20 variations. Their fruit and veg is not subjected to prolonged cold storage either which can make it tasteless. It is my nearest shop and the only other supermarkets are Morrisons (currently in a tent as the shop burned down before Christmas), Co-op (very expensive) and Somerfield (also very expensive) and I can always park at Aldi.
