there was something on tv the other night, a show called 'the hairy bikers'
theyre both cooks and they travel around the country on their bikes.
anyway, they were showing how to cook the best chips the other night.
and the art is to dry the cut chips to remove the starch from the potatoes,
then cook them in a fryer on a lowish eat for a few mins till soft,
and then remove from the fryer, put to one side until ready to eat, when they finished off cooking them by popping them back into the fryer on a high heat to crisp them up.
they looked lovely! all golden and crispy. hmmmm very yummmy :o)
