hi there friends can anyone tell me how the italian spirit   grappa is made?

I think it's distilled from the grape skins after the grapes have been pressed to make wine. It's one of those things you either love or hate, I can't stand it but a friend of mine adores it!

Grappa is indeed distilled from the skins, stalks and pips of grapes after pressing, and may or may not include the toenail clippings of the pressers. You can strip paint with the cheaper offerings, but some of the better examples - often of a particular grape variety and aged in wood - are exceedingly good. Delilahcat - give it one more try!
