Hello Guys.... Please can you give me some ideas for some mouth watering canapes and finger food for an engagement. My problem is i want the occassion to look like it cost a million but only have a limited budget.
Most people do taste with their eyes (but the food still has to be great) Any positive feedback greatly recieved.

went to a reception & they served:

A carvery type loin of pork that was sliced if you wanted it, next to it was bread rolls & salad - so you could make a filled roll if you wanted to.
Halved wraps filled with a mixed bean salad.
Pizza pastry rolls (puff pastry topped with pizza sauce & cheese & then made into sliced wheels & baked)
Halved bread rolls topped with mozerella cheese and a pesto type sauce.
Rolls with cream cheese & smoked salmon.
