I'm reading a history mystery and in the book the protagonist is invited to look around the house of a lawyer .It's stacked to the gunnels with various artefacts statues ,paintings etc .It reminded me of a museum somewhere in London that was in a private house but I can't remember the name of it .It's bugging me :)
Any ideas as to what it's called ?

"Badge" packaging is one of my pet peeves...especially annoying when i buy the diet version of a drink. I needed cheering up so I have a glass of Lidl champagne with Bottle Green pomegranate and elderflower cordial in it. Its very delicious, slightly sweet, fruity and blush pink....I tell you what else is a recent yummy find, del'ugo fresh ravioli from waitrose. the pea and pancetta is especially good as is the crab, crayfish and lobster which is a bit dearer.
Off to bed now so oight oight all. See yer later gater(s)
oight oight all
OH came home and reheated the fish pie and ate it so all is well. Though the OH tum is rumbling a bit now.
Morning all. Of to do my exercises then into town to look for some boots....Laters gaters! Have a good day.
Morning all...bright 'n blue skies here, we're promised wall to wall sunshine for today so let's see how right or wrong they are (snow/sleet tomorrow).

Good luck Jude, if you want slim leg boots you're going to have to pay a bit more than average but it's not illegal to have a bit of a gap nowadays...I know it's hard to get the 70s rule out of our minds tho'!

Now c'mon woofy, a power cut? ...KBO, we've lived through the dark ages :)
You could have had that fish pie couriered to me jno, it looks lovely...
Probably a daft question but would any of you say (cooked) red onions are easier on the tum than common cooking/spanish onions?
Thanks jno.

Now going through this thread to catch up on the ends of lines and what happened yesterday.
Glad you are feeling better Woofy and hope you are on the mend Neti.

No snow here as yet, although it is south of us.

Was occupied yesterday doing stuff for Mr LL and am probably going to be in the same situation again today when he returns from an important appointment in Norwich. Involves a court appearance - Not a criminal court I would add so they won't be locking him up!!

See you later - Choice is between housework or going back to catch up. Have been awake since 2.30am!!
Would add that the Court Appearance is not a worrying event!!! We haven't gone bankrupt or anything - yet!!
he's been summoned to court, Lottie? How thrilling!

Ex-Sydney sis has sent me a photo of snow all round her Essex abode. I warned her it wasn't like Bondi Beach in December.
If Judge John Deed is there, stick a stamp on him and send him to me....failing that I'll take Tim West please (the angel barrister out of Eternal Law.)
Feeling heaps better, mouth healed and I slept well. Lots of catch up stuff today and more decs to go up.
Wow snow....I love snow.
I think snow looks very pretty but I don't like chilblains.
Decided to do housework - bad decision!!!

Ha, ha jno!! Beautiful colours in that picture by the way.

Glad you are so much better Woofy!!

I don't like snow, even less now that I difficulty with walking. Ice terrifies me these days.
( neti crawls in )

Sorry all doom and gloom here, still in bed, still feel terrible, just hope I loose weight! My hair literally looks like Jedwards, sticking straight up, but luckily it's convinced Mr N that I really am unwell, cos no way would I allow the hair to look like that normally. My parcel is in Barcelona but typically it is a fiesta tomorrow and again on Saturday so hopefully I will get it on Friday, just need the slow cooker. I made a lovely stew for Mr N yesterday and it simmered for a couple of hours and I stirred it every half hour, then I fell asleep and it burned on the bottom, so I had to tip it into another pan and peer at it and pick out the burnt!! He's asked me not to cook today! Haven't been able to taste anything since Sunday!

Sorry folks.

Hija sent me a photo of sis in law's garden today it is covered in snow, and hija has gone back to work.
Get well soon, Neti. Glad Hija is better. Is she lodging with your sister?
Neti, you need to rest, when you get ill like that its a sign of doing way too much.
For Neti!

Winter's aren't much fun in England with all these bugs are they? I've had enough of it already, it's a real feel of minus 5 here.
Why does everyone give me dispersable aspirin? I hate them, all I wanted was for Mr N to get me some normal aspirin, no came back with these huge soluble ones, urgh! But since having taken one, I am feeling slightly better!

Yes Woofy I guess I did too much in England, but there is so much to do there, and I had a wonderful time. I blame the shops, they are so hot when you go inside, then so cold when one comes out again.

Lottie, hija is staying with sis-in-law while she feels ill, but is sharing a studio with a gay boy friend in Elelphant and castle, but as he smokes she won't go back until her chest is better. She is on the point of flying back to Spain, gawd help us!

Am losing my voice.

Where is the picture of a fish pie, I really can't see it.

Cant help re the onions Robi, I rarely cook with them, I always use the crispy ready fried ones.
Thank you Robi, that is so sweet.
