London Museum

I'm reading a history mystery and in the book the protagonist is invited to look around the house of a lawyer .It's stacked to the gunnels with various artefacts statues ,paintings etc .It reminded me of a museum somewhere in London that was in a private house but I can't remember the name of it .It's bugging me :)
Any ideas as to what it's called ?

my ruby slippers are in the microwave where they belong.

Had to buy a smaller belt today as the current one seems to be a bit big. I'd take that as a slimming triumph, but actually I think it's just stretched. Probably came off some rather elastic animal

I have lost 2kilos so all's well, thought I felt better but am back in bed as I felt quite unwell.

The hair is shorter than it has been for years - and blonder!!! I like it a lot, but I don't like the face underneath it.

Would look like this, with the bits in front of the ears a bit longer. Well it would like this if I was 20 and pretty. Instead I look like a blond Jo Brand!!!
