Would you believe Pisa. (Thats in Italy)
Ha ha, sddsddean beat me to it. It was also going to say Pisa!

Have you never heard of Google, you could have found it in seconds if you had googled.
And Pisa is up the coast from Rome. See whereabouts here.
In Pisa? In Italy?

Well jigger me sideways, I thought it was in Eurpoe.
If you're travelling to see it, get off the train in Pisa and look around - you can see it form most areas in town.
Google returns about 48,000 results for Octavius's 'Eurpoe'.
But if you follow the links, there seems to be some confusion over the name actually represents.
Pizza !
We were very disappointed with it - it's not as big as you would imagine and they were asking 30 euros for the privilage of climbing to the top!! A real rip-off! Of course we didn't go up. The church right next to it is beautiful much more interesting.
The best scam I ever heard of was a guy selling tickets in the car park by the tower. People paid up and then were surprised to be asked for more money to get into the tower itself. They complained about the double charge only to be told that the chap in the car park was completely unofficial. In fact he was "selling" insurance in case the tower fell on your car while it was parked.
He retired a rich man - never had a claim.
