Hello

Is there someone out there who will be willing or able to help me with finding a reference for a poster that I would like to use in an essay about the Symbolisms of Fascism?

I located said poster on a Wikipedia site (Link below)
http://en.wikipedia.o...aganda_Italy_1933.gif

the Wikipedia site redirected me to the original site for the poster. (Link below)
http://cronologia.leo.../tabello/tabe1531.htm

My problem is I am unable to find any information about who produced or published this poster in 1933. I have exhausted every avenue I know and my Italian Italian tutor is unable to give assistance.

It would be a shame not to be able to use this poster as it represents many images, slogans and ideals of the fascists of the time, but without an artist name, a publisher or reason for it being published I may have to abandon it.

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Looks like it was published by the Italian Fascist Party in 1933. Try searching for references there. I hope your Italian is up to it!
can't you just list it as Wiki does, as of unknown authorship? Plenty of posters have been anonymous. The message of this one is clear enough.
JNO, if this is for something that will be assessed academically, it does need to have a provenance. Eg anyone with a bit of flair could photoshop it and cast it onto the www

Thank you for the suggestions, yes it will hopefully be an academic essay?! Unfortunately my Italian is non-existent, thank heavens for on-line translators! but it doesn't look too promising.
