what is your opinion on the legend? was he in the crusades? further details needed.

If he didn't exist the amount of things he 'could have done' is endless............they don't have to have the slightest shred of evidence..........well, because there won't be any.
So, if you wish to insist (like Kevin Costner) that Robin Hood was in the Crusades, go ahead......there is NO evidence to the contrary, either.

I have never heard that Robin Hood was in the crusades (unless in a very early one), he was doing his alleged deeds here while the King was away on crusade, I remember one story about the King coming back from Crusade and Robin having to account for what he was up to.
