Kitchen & Bathroom Cabinet Sizes

I'm looking to re-fit my kitchen & bathroom in the spring as I'm disabled after a stroke, I've been inundated with quotes and catalogues, that all seem quite expensive so I'm trying to mix & match different units etc. Can anyone tell me if there is a standard size for all normal units as some have to contain ovens, washing machines etc. I can't afford to much but want it to look reasonable. Thank you

Many units have adjustable feet to ensure a level worktop, so height can be adjusted within a range.
