.................. providing the concrete is stable (and won't move further) and you have adequate height to be able to do it, without it looking too high.
Or getting up to the level of your damp course,assuming it's near the house!

Many thanks for your help I assume I can lay them on a dry sand and cement base . Should I use a wet mixture between the joints.?
