We have this bush in the garden .When it comes into bloom it looks glorious and it's just starting now .However I have no idea what it is . It was here when we moved in nearly nine years ago .
Any offers ?

BOO! You are awful but I like you! I had to laugh, now go back to work in frozen climes!
I am not washing out my nostrils again, took a huge sniff and almost choked, I couldn't breathe, so *** that!
I adapted the remaining lamb, added a few more veg and roast pots and it was, yet again, delicious! He know it's back to spag bol tomorrow
hello all quick wizz in. I seem to have done nothing but sleep today.

Lol....you cheeky young whippersnapper .Much more and we'll make you read Woman's Weekly and turn the mangle and there'll be no cake :)
It seems to have warmed up ever so slightly,no minus signs on Accu tonight.
I've done b all day as well Woofy so you're not the only one and I fell asleep watching something or other earlier .I did wake up for Back in Time for Dinner though, then I watched the prog about Andrew Marr and how he's coping after his stroke .
Time for bed I think ,blood letting tomorrow .
taps fingers...where's BOO with my hot water bottle :)
Night all.
Morning all...still grey and misty after a foggy start. Doesn't feel milder to me yet.

Oh heck, that young B00's a brave woman. Never mind Woman's Weekly, I think three week's studying will do her good

Just take good care of those nose holes neti, you don't want a nasty infection.

Good luck shaney, I think I'd need anti-freeze before anyone could get a blood sample out of me.
Good morning all (including the Apprentice) what can I say? its grey damp and chilly here again. Bit concerned about my Sis, she has got an ongoing stomach upset thing and the doc has talked about referring her to a specialist. Her symptoms don’t appear to indicate anything nasty but you can’t help worrying can you?
Oh dear woofy, fingers crossed she's ok, hopefully just one of those phases we go through as we get older. I worry for the world but it doesn't help them or me. I'm in a phase of screaming tinnitus at the moment. Oh joy.
Morning all. Sorry about your sister Woofy, hope it's nothing scary!
Nice and sunny here but a chill in the air. I went out for coffee and tried to get hair cut but both salons are closed! Will try tomorrow as am getting desperate! Nose started bleeding slightly on way home so I've snorted salt water gently and didn't choke this time.
Neighbour has died 103 yrs so not all bad, he was the one who got in my taxi when I first arrived and took me to mum's house as there was no address! He was 57 I think!
I watched The Moorside but thought it a bit watery! And Holby of course!

Hello all
Quite bright and a tad milder. Only a tad though.I had to rush around first thing as they rang and changed my appt .I wasn't really in rushing mode either.
Had blood drawn and BP was normal.I was trapped between two coughers and snorters in the waiting room so did a Neti and breathed gently through my nose.
Hope it soon clears up properly for you Neti.
Sorry to hear your sis is unwell Woofy.Fingers crossed it's nothing drastic but these things are worrying as I know very well .At least she's in the system for getting it sorted.Nothing doing otherwise .I'm going for a click round Wilkos now.
Pip Pip for now .
old bath is out on the street in case any tramps want a scrub up (or more likely in case any scrap metal merchants are on the prowl). New one is being plumbed in but we temporarily have no running water. Hopefully it will return soon as we are going to a Bit of a Do this evening.

Good luck to your sis, woofy. Does she get the usual poo sticks for testing?
yes, she gets poo sticks and none of her symptoms sound serious, no blood anywhere, it sounds more like IBS but she never had it before.

I suddenly got IBS out of the blue Woofy .Had the gallops for a while and went to the doctors. This was ages ago now and she said it was thinning of the lining of the bowel caused by getting older and also possibly the medication I was taking for the rheumatoid arthritics had affected my insides. It was strange really.
Food and drink( milk mostly ) that I had eaten and drunk with no probs for donkeys years suddenly didn't agree with me.
Feel a tad under the weather, raging headache, sore nose because I forgot and pushed it up when wiping it and the pain was horrible. You can see the stitches and some look like big black hairs, why do I bother?
thank you shaney that is very comforting. She is the oldest of us although you’d never know it
I had IBS for years from late 1960s and it didn't have a name then, so painful, then about 8 years later it stopped. It was awful to eat out in restaurants, as that seems to make me full of wind. Had it briefly last year but not for long, horrible,it is!
Just caught up with Further back in time.... it was delightful, although I wasn't born then I still remember some of the ornaments and the lovely clariss cliff style crockery! The armchairs, oh I'd love a new suite like that these days, and some,of the ladies clothes, oh take me back! Except for the stuffed marrow oh yuk, we had that!
I get it in phases and the triggers have changed over the years.

I've learnt what I can and can't eat since I pitched up with it .
Funnily enough when I had that gammy leg which was sooo painful the doctor gave me Zapain which at the time I was glugging like sweeties. Not only did it help the arthritic pain ,it's helped the IBS .I was dubious about taking it a first because I'd had other codeine based stuff which was awful but at the time of said leg I would have been happy to take scabby eyed monkey pills :)
Now I take just two at night and I get a good sleep and once my system settled my movements so to speak are normal and I only get the very occasional flare up .
Hope your sis soon feels better Woofy .
Yes, I like back in time Neti .They're a lovely family. Brandon's a very clever man in real life and writes childrens books etc.
