My lawn is beyond a joke - the strimmer is useless
Can anyone recommend a brush cutter
It needs to go through brambles too

Many thanks in advance

Hire a lawn mower...?
Question Author
It's too long for a mower
A visit to your local small plant hire shop\unit and see if you can hire one for a morning\ afternoon\all day?
How about a flame thrower
A good old fashioned scythe
Probably your best bet is to get yourself a strimmer /trimmer which allows you to use interchangeable heads ie stimmer, brush-cutter, hedge trimmer, chainsaw etc.
There are a few different makes on the market.

Chipchopper, I've seen the ryobi have you any experience of that make?

Many thanks
Ric.ror, Riobi is the very make that I have. I've used it for 3 years now and can't fault it (always starts 1st time, if you follow the instructions.
Ric.ror i also had the ryobi with a blade fitted and it cut the lot down , rambling russian rose , you name it and it was growing wild and free

very good item just make sure you mix the oil and petrol correctly
