Cutting Back Trees

when is the best time to have trees pruned or branches removed as regards to nesting birds ?is September too early like to do before leaves start falling !thanks

As with most plants, dormant pruining is the most efficient and provides a lot of benefits... here in the U.S., we prune even our large ash trees in early March when it's still cold enough not damage the lawn with the trucks...
