besides picking off and crushing them, is there a pesticide for killing the caterpillars on my gooseberry bushes?

not that i have found i just pick them off (with gloves) and squish them regularly. Last year i was new at this and they ate all the leaves!!
derrisdust will get rid of them but the leaves won' t return until next spring. however they will not effect the fruit
Pick them all off this year and you should get a good crop next year, that's what my husband did last year and you should see how many have grown this year!
Ooh, that sounds a bit like a tounge twister!
hang fat balls amung the bushs they will bring the birds
they will eat the caterpillars while waiting to get at the fat balls this works on apple treesas well...
