A few people on here were reporting problems with their robinia frisias earlier this year & I wondered how you went on, did they recover? Is it now happening to others too?
I'm absolutely gutted to see my tree has developed some brown spots & curling mainly on it's lower branches & more on the side that gets the east wind. Seems that, according to
this information I've found (in particular see 11th post) it's a problem made caused/worse by this awful weather we've had last yr & this (up to now).

Afternoon all biddies and a handsome Vinny (that's got to be a few years ago - just a few) I have been to see Derby win against Cardiff today at Pride Park 2 - 0.Great afternoon I was determined not to be cold and I put on A T shirt a jumper a cardigan a scarf and my jacket, then boots 2 pairs of pop socks and my jeans and my gloves. We walked there and back about half an hour each way, so we kept warm. Now I'm home and the heating is on.
Lovely photos of you Kit. I don't have many of me when I was a little girl, so I wont, bore you with the ones I've got as I don't like them.
Have a good night all I think Lewis is on tonight - am I right!
see yer later 'gater(s)

This is at the end of the match The Cardiff supporters were kept behind the arc barrier but we didn't see any trouble thank goodness.

Happy ma's day neti, hope you haven't spent it doing the laundry.

You must be mad Jude, it's freezin' but not as much rain as jno's obviously had. Admit it, the police were there to control you! :o) Yes it is Lewis tonight, I think it'll be a snuggled under the fleecy blanket job.

I thought the pic had something familiar about it Kit. I don't know if I saved all the ones you've posted, I really need to sort my pictures out & put them into files, I've got thousands. My back thankfully wasn't as bad as I'd expected it to be but much more of this cold wind & it will be aching... all of me will. Hope yours eases soon.

Big Chief speak with forked tongue to wind up women, it heap big snow in Wooly :o)
Heap big snow in Wooly eh ?

That'll teach him :)
You're very brave in this lot Jude .Nothing could induce me to stray from home today ,even if Gene Hunt pulled up outside in the Quatro waving a bottle of scotch .

Nice picture Kit ,you look all chubby and cuddly :)
Yes Lewis is on later .Something to look forward to on this dismal day .
thank you kindly Robi - he he, I've managed to persuade Mr N (very gently) that 'twould be better for all concerned if he drove to airport, so off he's gone, well a bit of fresh air won't hurt him. Now when I get a cold, it's all moaning and groaning , coughing and spluttering, I do not do martyrdom (is there such a word!)
Its actually been reasonably decent here. Rainy but that nice fresh spring rain and quite mild. DH is feeling better and kept down the little he has eaten..got up late and back to bed early,,,thinking about fumigating the house but its too much faff, maybe I'll just let us get accustomed to the bugs....joke I have been cleaning and spraying everything that can't move. I hate being ill myself but its even worse when its DH or one of the dogs cos I panic.
oh yes, such nice fresh spring rain that I've just had to chase off a fox who came in for a drink. Well, the waters are receding at least. But there was about 30 foot square of garden with water lying on the surface - just sheer volume coming down faster than it could soak away. Goodness, Jude, is that everyone lining up in their yellow jackets to do a Derby sun dance? Hope it works.
hmmm, I've just been on to a Croatian website and there's a photo of jno jnr dressed as Fred Kremenko (that's Flintstone in Croat). What a proud parent I am.
What a lift reading this thread ,really made me laugh and I need that .We're into Autumn here and (sorry) the weather is fantastic .Not too hot ,really bearable .We went a ride (a 160 km round trip) yesterday ,didn't want to go too far -health reasons -up to a little place called Canungra ,had a lovely Devonshire cream tea for our morning break and then on and up further where there's craft shops ,local history and trips shop etc and finally had a lovely lunch at The Bean Inn .Areal homemade hamburger with chips and Cappuccino to follow .The best I've felt for ages Í've been in for so long I've got cobwebs all over me and too tired to brush them off . Anyway sorry to hear you are all having such wet and cold weather ,come June and it will be flaming hot (I hope )
See you all later Love xxx

good moaning...I'll give you taking in some early rays Vincent, the tinter says your temperature's the same as ours & that's freezin' again!
In fact I've put about a tenner in the swear box already...it's waaaay too cold, had to wear a coat with hood up just to walk around the garden...I've clouted my elbow really hard....it's freezin cold...I can't find something I'm looking for....it's bl00dy freezin'....just had to get up to answer the phone - wrong number!....oh, and did I mention how cold it is?

Good to see you're feeling better Dolly, long may it continue and enjoy your autumn weather. I'm laughing at 'Bean Inn'...with your summer temperature's shouldn't it be called the Baked Bean?

(chortle & scribble are lovely words)
Question Author
tut, where were you 2 hiding?
Yes Jude, I look in on the peregrine falcon's from time to time...the webcam I mean, I don't go shinning up the side of the cathedral
I don't know why Sta Eulalia is showing a car park with a fun fair ride, we do have a lovely beach!
Question Author
were your bazooms in the way of the beach cam again neti?

I'm having a George weekend...no, not the vacuuming one...the singing one..
That'll be George Manilow then!
Hi there. Hope you are all ok today and not too cold. It's definitely colder than yesterday and raining! My son has been to see me and had an hour or so chatting. He sounds a lot better but still a bit down. He messed about on my PC for a while then the piano, which I was trying to help him with but he doesn't listen he likes to teach himself like he did with the guitar. He does happen to have a good ear for music. I'm going to watch the snooker final in a bit as there isn't much else to do.

Do you mean a George Michael weekend Robi?

I'm listening to Radio 2 and they are talking to British songwriters and playing one of their songs and then one they had wished they'd written. It's been good so far.

Take care all bye for now!
