Does anyone know the correct time for Hydrangers to flower? The ones in my garden flowered in August last year, this year it's October! Nature seems to be upside down because the brambles were out at the beginning of August!

My Hydrangeas flower end of July and well into August. If you had a cool summer maybe this is why. I have an azalea which sometimes flowers in Spring and sometimes in September!!

Thanks coccinelle, that's what I thought. You're right about a cool summer though, I've begun to forget what a hot summer is like!
Maybe you pruned them a lttle too hard?
