Hope you dont start with ......."which one are you!?........... oh we havent touched it for 6 months(when its obviously been neglected for nearer 6years!).......we want it done as cheap as poss and can you do it before Easter........by the way the sideway is only 18" wide............hope your men dont waste time drinking tea..........how much do you charge an hour.....what, the fireman only charged half that!!??
Yeah...what kind of state is it in?

Not exactly cowards. They obviously think it's not worth it.
Are you offering a rate for the job, or expecting them to quote for it?
mine was a scary mess, but in came the bulldozers came in and sorted it.. cost me £1000's though!
Mine cost 3k and it was only 40ft (70ft going down the side of the house)
My garden was a total wilderness, it isn't huge though. Asked someone to look at it, they came and within just over a week it had been turned into a Japanese type garden. It wasn't cheap, but was well worth it.

I asked them for a quote and said that £700 was my budget, but willing to pay more if a good job done........and want it done for summer...garden is 260sqm, it just needs a mini digger to dig it all up and lay new turf, how hard can that be, people want something for nothing these days, they prob want 3k for a small job like that, id pay that if they dug it up and levelled and turfed with their bare hands..
Budget price turf would be about £500, does'nt leave much for time and labour plus rotavator costs
I'm having my garden done next week......all dug up......new drainage system done.....new turf laid and new hedging done..........£1800.00.

im just getting it dug up, new turf laid, thats not a bad price craft.
Think you are looking for something for nothing Suzie1, hence no one has come back to you. Are you sure a mini digger is required, if so: Mini digger at £100.00 per day, rubbish away say £150.00, rotavator £50.00, 260sq.m. turf at around £550.00 and we are already up to £850.00, with no labour costs. Depending on state of ground now, I reckon you need to double that.
Agree...you want something for nothing suzie.
Another pie in the sky post..................
I would suggest doing it yourself. Might make you understand how much hard work it is....
Suzie thought she could have her loft converted for about £ 1000................
I thought she was getting her driveway done?
£1000 for a loft converstion...pmsl
I was quoted about £22k when I looked into a loft conversion!
