Shrub Identification
Back in the spring I really butchered one of my OH's plants. I just thought it was unruly and leggy and needed dealing with.
Now he is amazed that it has flowered!!!! Its got quite dense foliage and at the end of the branches, red lumps have formed. They are developing into long flowers which open right out at the end. There must be two separate plants because one side is red and the other is yellow. It's really difficult to describe the shape of these flowers, I think trumpet like is the best I can do.
can anyone help me identify it, please? At least then I will know how to look after it properly.
