smelly carpet shampooer

I have a bissell carpet shampooer which is absolutely the bees knees. It is easy to use and really gets my filthy dog-defiled carpets clean again. The only trouble is that while I do clean it after use and let it dry in the air before putting it away, it is beginning to smell, I guess because some dirty water is always left inside it somewhere. has anyone else had this problem and found a solution to it please?
TIA

Hi all just been having a giggle at you posts..It's very black over Bill's Mothers. I expect another hail storm or something in a minute.
I'll pass on your good wishes to M

I've been on a new tack today. Trying Bonsai. My sister (Fuschia) said I had a shoot of a beech tree in my garden and suggested I cut the tap root off (don't ask me)and then plant it in this small pot I have and let it thrive. We shall see...wont we. I'll keep you posted!
I pressed the send key then too soon. I was going to add I'll pass on your good wishes to Maggie and I've been out to lunch today with her. She has to go into hospital for one night on Thusday to get a tube fitted for her food. Poor lady. she is so nervous. Her main op is next Tuesday. She is still in pain after the biopsy and cannot eat properly. I feel so sad for her.

I'm off now to have some tea...Laters 'gaters!
Well I managed a couple of things on the list .
Hope your tum has settled down Woofy .What a dire day it's been weatherwise .
Blowing a gale out there now and black as your hat again . Silk is on later so that's something to look forward to .
Have a nice evening folks .

I do bonsai, you have to water them religiously. I have got a couple of beeches and a birch tree, all just seedlings I have pulled up and potted. You can also "chea"t and use naturally miniature forms as well.

We are all in bed. Stomach settled, dogs settled. Tomorrow is also a day. Oight oight all.
I slept until 7.00pm. Got up - made mushrooms and eggs on toast. I am not keen on eggs or mushrooms so covered everything in tomato sauce. Going back to bed shortly. You lot make me laugh!!

Hope your tum is better tomorrow Woofy.

Jude, it must be so horrible for Maggie - poor lady. I hope it all turns out OK for her.
I enjoyed Silk. First time I have ever watched it.
It was very good .I love Phil Davis and Neil Stuke is briiliant as the clerk .He's so devious .Didn't you see the first series Lofty ?
I may toddle off to bed shortly .
My plan is to go into town tomorrow weather permitting .I need a light dressing gown just in case it ever warms up round here and some chips on the market :)
Oight Oight ..sleep toight .
Didn't see the first series Shaney, Can't think why :o(.

Can't believe it's mid May!! I am still wearing thermal vests!!! I think a light weight dressing gown might be of limited use - just get some hot chips and a new hottie!! ;o)

Good morning. It was white with frost in the forest this morning, I am bored with this now. Want summer, or at least spring.....
Absolutely Woofgang, me too!!! Have noticed that things in the garden that looked healthy and flourished during the March hot spell have now perished or look decidedly unhealthy, much the same as us!!! I can't remember a May like this - not ever never ever never!!!

I am going to be coloured and trimmed today and then meeting a friend for lunch. It is actually beautiful here this morning, all over sunshine - no frost but very much like a lovely day in MARCH!!!!
Good morning biddettes!

Lovely sunny but chilly day here in Eastbourne, apparentely rather jolly warm in SE ibiza. The hailstorm was tremendous yesterday!

We are going to Seaford at lunchtime to get me another outfit as it is my bro's 50th wedding anniversary on 19th and although the happy couple are in Oz, three of us bridesmaids are having a lunch and a cheers to them. Older sis (in Oz since yesterday) was the 4th bridesmaid. These people are so conventional that I dare not waltz in in my normal clothes.

Jude hope Maggie is OK and you too for supporting her.

Hope the rest of you are Ok and Rab recovered well.
Good morning Everybiddy. Lovely morning but very cold. Wherever is Summmeerrr. soon be the longest day then what...

I've passed on your good wishes to Maggie who said it was very kind of you. Thankyou.

How are your feet today Lottie. Not so painful now i hope.

I'm off to have a look at the New TK Maxx which has opened on the other side of Derby. Then I'm calling in to see my little baby boy and his Dad. He's a gem. The little boy, not his Dad. He's not too bad though and a really good Dad.
Tomorrow I'm out shopping in the City and lunch with a friend and then I'm going to see the Waterboys at night with my walking friend so I may not get on here. Then Friday I shall be leaving for a weekend away - so I will probably be back on on Sunday night.

So have a good next few days All of you and I hopethat all aches, pains and problems keep away for a bit. Finally that the weather turns warmer so we can sit in the Garden.

See yer later 'gater(s) x

[3rd echo]...have a good time Jude! :o)
A new TK Maxx, I didn't know about that.

Water meter fitted! Me & my neighbour were told it would take 1-2 hrs...he didn't even come inside (after much preparation yesterday, tut) he did it at the street stop tap, took about 10 minutes. Hope it works out for us.

Was there something in the air (or water) yesterday? I suddenly had a really dodgy tum for a couple of hours too but it passed without too much of an event.

I bought a light dressing gown last year, half price from M&S, and never wore it, it just wasn't warm in the mornings.
And hopefully I'm having my hair done tomorrow, my hairdressers been out of action for a while, bless her, she's a lovely girl.

Love the bathing monkeys Lottie. :o)
oooh jno, that's beautiful.
Hi all
It's been a lovely day here, sunny but still on the chilly side. Clouding up now though.Got my dressing gown in the hope we'll get a summer .Got eggs and veg on the market ,treated myself to a kiddie cone of chips and sat in the sun and scoffed them .
Hope you are all OK and all aches and pains minimal.
Have a nice time Jude ,am thinking of your friend and hope she'll be alright .
Lovely garden picture Jno .
Nothing doing here otherwise .See you later .
Spent an expensive three hours in the hairdressers. Am pleased with the result - she really is excellent at colouring and cutting and I have come out with the same shaggy hairstyle with a rather nice tones of ash blonde. It is bloomin' cold and the sun has now disappeared. Mr LL has gone out with dog so I have craftily switched the heating on!!

Your garden looks lovely jno.

Jude makes me feel tired just reading about all her activities!!!

My feet are very strange. They feel a bit better when I am walking but hurt when they are at rest!! And they keep going to sleep!!! Oh well................................
