Definitely Blondie ............ essential in pub and restaurant kitchens now, to keep Environmenta l Health happy.
I've done something similar in a beer cellar too. Stainless steel is a really cool alternative as well........ ......... costs a bit more though!
Thin sheets are sometimes used, fixed to battens, but can feel a bit " floppy".

Do some serious Googling. Have a look for more "solid" boards faced with uPVC. A bit easier for a diy job.

No, no, no! The cladding would get dirty from air-borne grease and fumes. If you've ever tried to clean something made from white plastic that has become yellowed through age, you'll realise that the plastic has become deep-stained. Cleaning the surface can never restore the original colour, no matter how hard you try. Tiles can always be restored to their original state by cleaning their surface. If you're not happy with the grout looking grubby, replace it with fresh grout in a dark colour. That way the dirt doesn't show up!
therell be nee fumes in my kitchen, seen as a hate cooking and prefer to eat out the cooker doesnt even work at the minute, im using a halogen oven, plus its receycles plastic that goes yellow a bit liek cheap front doors, ive done all my bathroom in this and its as white as the day it was put in and thats 6 months, plus it insulates the walls too, im going to go for it,
