Went out to cut the grass for the first time this year and could not believe how much moss there is -- is it something to do with the terrible winter we had in the UK? I didn't have all this last year. It's going to cost me a fortune in moss killer! Anybody else noticed this?

I haven't got a lawn now, but I can lend you a lawn rake.....

Same here and I live in France (north of Paris). I think it's due to early snow lasting so long. As I've got quite a big garden I'm not complaining as it'll be less to mow the next few weeks. The grass will soon take over....
Yup, lots of moss this year. We will be starting treatment now the weather is warming up.
Grass doesn't grow at temperatures below 43°F. Moss does. It's out with the moss killer and lawn rake again for me.
