I put water in mine with washing up liquid, then put back on the cooker to boil for 5 mins, seems to work with non stick pots.
Washing detergent.
Surely things don't stick to non stick pans...
Also a dishwasher tablet left to soak
Oh they do, well on mine any way. Mainly cheese sauce for some strange reason.
Brillo pads. If very thick try scraping with a flat-edged steel tool like a metal spatula then finish with the Brillo pad.
you should never use metal objects in non stick pans/saucepans the best way my wife has found is to soak them in hot water after emptying them and add washing up liquid and leave soaking until you wash up after the meal.
Soaking with a biological washing powder tablet is often successful.
I also find that soaking in cold, then hot water seems to help.
I agree with the washing detergent option. Bring the pan to boil with a little liquid and soap....or empty a cup of water from the kettle into the soiled pan...leave for an hour then clean as usual.
