Although cold today, its lovely and sunny so I've been for a wee scout round the garden.

I've a few mini daffs in flower and some tulips (yes really). A few primroses are flowering (although the slugs seem to be enjoying them). Lots of the perennials are starting to put out some new growth. The lawn is starting to green up.

AND, I am so excited. Just been in the polytunnel and I have some dahlias, marigolds, larkspur and caulis through. With a few other trays looking like they are just germinating.

Also noticing more bird activity. They are a bit noisier in the morning and there seems to be a fair few birdies in the garden.

lol, I do freeze eggs, but I am running out of freezer space. Anyway, at the rate my girls are laying, I'll never use the frozen ones. I can't even give em away. I offered them to the local school for the cookery department but they are not allowed.

Ed - if I make any more cakes, Mr BM will need new clothes due to an ever expanding waist line.
how about boiling them all hard and giving them to kids to paint for Easter. I dont know if they would start to smell after a while though
Cleared lily of valley bed from weeds, hope they burst through

I think they would smell after a while. I've solved part of the problem by growing some cress, so Mr BM can have egg and cress sarnies for his lunch.

Tamborine, I love the scent of LoV. I think mine have died though. I think its just too open in my front garden for them.
