Thanks very much Ivor.
Why not simply use the alarm on your mobile phone?

I'm an old-fashioned gal and rarely use a mobile - I just charge it up in case I break down when going on long car journeys, so most of the time the battery's flat, but thanks for the suggestion though.
So there you have it. Your unused phone. Charge it and use it and save buying yet another device that
does the same jobby! :)

For folk with a decent-sized screen and buttons, or with nimble fingers and good eyesight, that’s a good idea. But for me, with my fat fingers and fiddly little mobile, not so great I’m afraid.

My buttons are far too small and close together (well, what can you expect for a £9.99 Aldi special). I hit the wrong buttons all the time. Would much rather scrap the damn thing altogether. However, that's not an option.

Plus, it doesn’t help that I am bone idle and can’t be doing with working my way through the menus to get to the timer.

But thanks for the suggestion....muchos grassiarse and all that. :o)

Ah, sorry, I thought you might have had a more mainstream phone.
