Where Can I Go To Find Wild Rocket Growing That I May Pick To Use For Salad

I just discovered rocket as in the salad leaves from supermarket and i like it very much and i heard that this stuff grows in places and easily available if you go out and pick it.Where would i find such a plcae where it grows wildly and is it ok to eat.What do i need to look for.

Can't exactly answer your question but it is very easy to grow from a packet.
Even if you haven't got a garden, you can grow it in a pot on the window sill.

If you pick it wild make sure you wash it very very wel. Dogs pee on pathways.

As said above - picking things in the wild is risky unless you are absolutely sure that what you pick is the right plant.

Some are unmistakable from their appearance or smell - I don't think Rocket is one of those.

Great idea to grow your own and have a ready supply.

i live Northants and i have had some from Aldi.
It was nice.
I watched on a cooking programme i think Jamie Oliver or River Cottage with Hugh saying that it grows every where out and about

It is not very fussy about habitats as such.

Farms use slurry including human waste. Foraging for wild growing plants is fine if you wash it before use.
