Just found hundreds of minuet yellow spiders with a black spot on them, they are on a recently bought plant. Any ideas as to that they are? Are they good guys or bad guys?

Without seeing them, it sounds like you have been sold an infected plant with 'Red Spider Mite'
So I'd guess and say, bad guys.

Are they mostly on the under sides of the leaves with fine webbing ?
These mites are harmful to plants (sucking on sap) and thriving in dry indoor conditions.
It you've only just bought it, it may be worth returning it and complaining. you may be offered a replacement.
Otherwise it can be treated with chemical sprays, that can be purchased, specially for the job, as directed.
To keep plants clear of r.s.m. a regular spray with water should help keeping them at bay, as they don't like moist environments.

I agree with Baldric and the link pretty much says it all - these are young garden spiders - the ones that are well marked and fat and sit in webs all over the garden late Summer/Autumn. About the only spider I can tolerate.

I meant to add, that if the plant was bought at a reputable nursery/gdn center, they may have someone on hand to identify it visually.

Red spider mite??? Hahaha. RSM aren't big enough to tell what colour they are let alone having a black dot on their back !!!!!

Sounds like the common garden spider as mentioned above. The adults are the spiders with the huge abdomens often seen in large, dew laden webs in autumn.
