My old plastic, garden hose reel has seen better days.
Its become warped, leaky and difficult to use.

I'm thinking of replacing it with a wall mounted type with at least 25m of hose.
Any good suggestions welcome. TIA

hoselock always a sure bet
Hozelock Ultimate with a manual wall mounted reel.the auto ones tend to get jammed.
Something Easy & simple to use, as said, Hoselock, if you use the hose from the back to the front of the house, get a conner fitment, this stops the hose getting frayed with constant pulling the hose around the edge of your home.
Can't agree with Hozelock I'm afraid .. last year I bought A 50 metre one for the allotment.
It cost me £40.00 ... Less than a year later it has already had 2 hose repair fittings where it has split twice. The hose is so soft it costantly gets twisted even though I have never rolled it since I bought it. I'm not impressed at all.
For protection I have steel bars driven into the ground at the corners of the plots and blue poly tube sleeves slotted over each bar. The tubes rotate freely and the hose gets dragged around them.
Let us know if you find a decent hose.
I've got an xhose great .takes up no room just hangs on wall when not in use .
ps it never tangles either x
alavhalf....the Hozelock Ultimate comes with a 30 year guarantee.
