Does a kettle boil more cheaply using electricity or gas? (All other things being equal - average tariff, same amount of water etc)

The secret is to only boil what you need or if you're a frequent drinker, get a small electric urn and keep it on all day.....just a small amount of electric would be needed every 5 minutes or so just to top the heat up. As for the summerhouse, it's currently my tool shed but there are rumours afoot that it will be done up and used for weddings. As there are currently two cafes in Preston park opposite, i doubt if it'll ever be finnancially viable to turn it into its original cafe status. If you're ever passing, pop in a wake the gardener up.....i'll show you round. |
