I found a brand new strimmer in my shed must be lying there over 4 or 5 years - the only reason I know it is new - the little plastic things were on the plug.

Anyway took me a while to figure it out and find it is very heavy - maybe because my arms are painful - anyway my question is it 96db on it - is that heavy. Do think db means decibels.

The other question when I pulled it up for height it wouldn't stay in place and that could have made some difference.

Thanks for any advice.

meant to say it is a Sovereign - probably a wee cheapie
Sovereign is middle of the range price and is quite good quality. Made in Italy, at least my Sovereign petrol lawn mower was. Db does mean decibels. They sell sovereign products in Homebase
