Leather shoes

i recently bought a lovely pair of leather pump style shoes.They are my size and fit nicely ..but the leather is so hard ! I have been rubbing Renapur into them with no effect . I have worn them once and got a blister for my trouble .What else can I do to soften them up ?

Yes back to normal after a mediocre weekend which was at least fairly dry but now it's chucking it down again ..very gloomy ..shades of Macbeth that archetypal story of the longing for power and treachery ...out damned spot !!

Anyway if a brother ever brings you any peas don't be greedy and stuff them down your throat as you shell them which I did yesterday .I am now in competition with Windy of Wooly !

There - I have been underhand, my daughter has put a q in travel, and when we need to move home, we can go there and no one will be able to connect us to it! Yay!!! Remind me later, cos I'll forget it.

Well it's time for my beddy byes ..with my book ,which is titled Winter in Madrid by C J Sansom and it is riveting !

We must have more culture in here and less airy fairyness .
Please ditch Womans Weekly in favour of Hairdressers Monthly and if that doesn't float yer boats you can always subscribe to The Lady ....lots of cultural snippets about her Maj and whether or not she has fluffy cushions in her boudoir .

I don't mind grouting normally... but... someone (NOT ME) thought the loo would look better tiled and someone else (NOT ME) thought mosaic tiles would be nice. As each tile seems to consist of 8x8 mosaics that means it takes 64 times as long to do the grouting. And since everybody else is suddenly frightfully busy, who has been doing this an hour a day for nearly a month now and barely halfway there? ME. grrr

thank heaven for cling film - I wrap myself in it too before I go to bed.... saves me having to have a shower until the job's finished.

Hi All hope you are all ok. Lovely day here. Been to Tai Chi and to lunch to a pub in Draycott. Very nice. Off to the quiz tonight. See if I can win again! Sunday lunch for 2 and a lotto ticket last week. I bet I've told you already. Lol.

The Winklepicker weekly made me laugh Robinia my feet hurt just thinking about them!
I've gorn orf decorating and along with the plumber, the gardener, and the electrician I have acquired a decorator, oh yes I forgot and a car mechanic. No more 'do-it-myself' I've done enough over the years.
I am going up to see Maggie tomorrow to give her a another lesson on The Biddies, should be interesting!
Looking forward to tomorrow night's telly Wire in The Blood - anybody else a fan of that programme, mind you this new story may be a bit harrowing as it's about an abduction of a young person. So I will reserve my judgement, but I do like Robson Green.
