Leather shoes

i recently bought a lovely pair of leather pump style shoes.They are my size and fit nicely ..but the leather is so hard ! I have been rubbing Renapur into them with no effect . I have worn them once and got a blister for my trouble .What else can I do to soften them up ?

Morning All sad news again today. My sister's dear husband passed away suddenly last night. Don't know what else to say except I'll be back. xx

It's a sad day for me too now, a couple of hrs ago I learned that a lovely neighbour has suddenly passed away. She was a lovely lady.

Hi All I'm back. Had a bit of an odd day but feel alright now. My brother-in-law had cancer of the lung cancer and had just come home from hospital after having treatment and was rushed back in again where he died an hour later, so as we always say in cases like this it was a blessing in disguise.
Thank you for your kind thoughts and thanks Vinny for the beautiful words and song.
I think I said I might be off out somewhere tonight but I think I'm just going to have a quiet night in with the box, as the heavens have just opened amd I can't be bothered to get ready.

From what I have read here I think its Vinny who is responsible for all this weather. Got back from Stockport and had to wring the car out. My dog sitter has pinched all the Tia Maria, but she redeemed herself by hoovering up the dog hairs. Dog has been spoiled rotten. Sitter must have enjoyed herself because she wants to sit again - brave soul.
