any suggestions for cleaning the new white kitchen units they are sort of matt white formica finish they are called stat units from ikea

Ikea's instructions for Stat units is, 'Wipe clean with a cloth damped in a mild cleaner. Wipe dry with a clean cloth'.
If they have a melamine finish,marks can be removed very effectively using a damp cloth with a bit of Jif (Cif) on it, But do this only occasionally, since continual use of this could eventually wear through the coating.
