does any body have this problem, I have a bosch dish washer, I use the recommended cleaning tabs, and when I take out my drinking glasses they are left with this white cloud around the glass, I dont know whether the mark is on the inside or outside. I have tried to wash the glasses by hand but these marks will not come off, I end up throwing out the glasses. Any ideas any one.

. Doesn't really matter what dishwasher you have or what tabs you use ...good glasses shouldn't go in the dishwasher .Once they have that bloom on them you will have a devil of a job to get rid of it .Try soaking them in some white vinegar and water that may help .Depends on the type of glass too and water hardness.Lead crystal will certainly come out cloudy .It's corrosion and a swine to shift .I learnt my lesson and now only put cheap and cheerful glasses in the dishwasher.Funnily enough they come out sparkling ! But if I have the good crystal stuff out ,which is once in blue moon ,I wash it up by hand .
There are some dishwasher tablets that are advertised that claim you can wash any sort of glass without leaving the white marks. Have a look next time you buy some.

Its worth checking whether the salt needs refilling, I had this problem until I filled it up again!
i agree with all the above and in particular adding salt, i live in a hard water area and i can tell by my glasses that come out of the dishwasher when i need to top up.
