i have noticed in my local branch of tescos how bare the shelves are.. its like russia in the 70s people cueing for bread has anyone else noticed this?
They must be badly run stores. All the ones I go to are well stocked.
What drives me mad though is that there are so many staff picking for internet orders with huge trolleys that obstruct the aisles.
Oh, and while I'm on a Tesco's moan, (and Sainsbury's) why do their checkout staff constantly talk to eachother about when their tea break is, and who is next on a break. They are obsessed.
from what I see in our local tesco in northern stoke on trent there are just far too few replenishing staff, either that or they're all sitting in the stockroom drinking tea!
The wage budget at Tesco is currently so tight, to protect profit margins, that overtime is often banned and as a result part time workers are limited to their (often very low) contracted hours.
