Marker pen

I have had a new kitchen fitted and the install team have left marker pen on the splash back that I cannot remove. I have tried flash, baby oil ( recommended not just a stab in the dark!) and even WD40. What will get rid of it?

I would be tempted to insist that the installers come back and sort it out for you.

Failing that, you can get graffiti removal chemicals from hardware stores, that might be worth a try.

There's a product called Zoff which is for removing the marks left by elastoplasts on skin, that will definitely get it off but I stress test it somewhere inconspicuous first. You can get it from chemists.

You can buy rubbing alcohol.If that doesent work try hairspray,but not near flames!!

If you draw over the mark with a dry wipe marker, the chemical that makes allows it to be rubbed off attacks the permanent marker. leave it to dry for a few seconds and you can just rub off with ease.
