Can I just pass on my congratulations to your daughter and hope it works out for them.
Gran Canaria eh?......love it there....especially Playa del Ingles.....dont you just love holiday romances?
I met mrs bear in San Diego whilst I was living and working in the U.S gigging, and 26 years later, we've been married 23 years this year and have four lovely children.

Thanks for asking Eddie, the answer is that we are still struggling. We have sent for and received a import pack. For some reason they want a certificate of conformity (the car was originally registered British and all EU countries have the same standards so we are baffled as to why - it has a French Certificate of Conformity as well). It is a Renault and when we contacted Renault they require a clearly legible photo (A PHOTO!) of the VIN plate with the application. My camera won't even fit into the space and there is no way I am skilled enough to get a legible picture - and I'm getting a bit desperate. I need to take it for a service soon and I'll ask the garage for help. Honestly, you'ld think I was importing a tank. I'll probably be back with more questions - there's a 14 day time limit once you start the process so no pressure at all!!!
So, tezmand, I am not joking about the car - everything else iseasy!
